Syracuse University Assistant Director in Syracuse, New York
The Assistant Director oversees honors advising and supervises honors advisors. The Assistant Director plays a key role in strategic planning and ensuring that the Program adheres to academic standards and norms of the University, and is the primary liaison to the school and college advising centers. The Assistant Director oversees aspects of Honors seminars, including development of new topics, hiring, training and evaluation of faculty; manages Honors courses; oversees the Honors application process and makes final admissions decisions; assists in representing the Honors Program to internal and external constituencies, particularly regarding recruitment, admissions, and advising.
