Position Overview
The Director is responsible for the management, planning, and implementation of Point of Care client strategies from initial brief to post campaign analysis. The ideal candidate will oversee the team and process to meet critical path deadlines and ensure effective client service. The role involves working with a team, managing, and implementing their POC advertising needs. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of account handling, will be a great communicator both internally and externally, and be able to use their own initiative to identify new ways of working with their clients to improve our offering while developing business. They must be calm under pressure and able to resolve client or team issues as and when they arise. In addition, the candidate must have a strong financial and commercial acumen as the position will take joint responsibility, with the Group Director and Finance Director, to deliver and surpass billing and revenue targets, along with an eye for detail needed for all financial reporting.
Responsibilities
* Proactively manage the overall communication, planning, and implementation processes to provide insightful communication plans for clients, and guarantee the continuity in quality, style and delivery across all accounts
* Deliver monthly updates to the Group Director on each client and how they are tracking against goals
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective client service, proactive problem solving, and the successful execution of all facets of account management with clients, agencies, and media owners, while ensuring all staff does the same
* Retain and grow existing client budgets and develop new business from existing accounts; Identify potential client issues and work with teams to develop solutions
* Ensure that market updates and insights are regularly presented to clients and agencies
* Work with the Group Director to develop and adapt services to meet and exceed client and agency needs, looking for ways to proactively grow the business
* Write convincing proposals and create detailed analysis and exhibit confidence and leadership in presenting to clients, agencies, and peers
* Keep self and company at large up to speed on all developments within the POC market
* Assist Group Director in preparing budget projections each quarter, in developing staffing plans and org charts for new business wins, and in identifying and developing potential partnerships and new revenue streams
Required Skills and Experience
* POC or OOH experience across all environments, having a strong knowledge of the broader picture: industry, client categories, markets, and key clients
* Proven ability to maintain and grow staff, agency, and client relationships through the delivery of exceptional customer service
* Previous experience presenting to top-level clients
* Rapport does not require candidates to have a college degree
Desired Skills and Experience
* Ability to manage, develop, and motivate employees and clients at all levels
* Possess commercial awareness and demonstrate business acumen
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
* Strong strategic, organizational, and analytical skills
* Possess sound financial management skills, i.e., knowledge/comprehension of financial and business aspects of both internal and client companies
* Ideally 10+ years of experience within either an OOH, Pharma, or full-service media agency

The salary range for this position is posted below. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee's/applicant's skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
