During the absence of family members or friends, provide around the clock one to one observation of and companionship to admitted patients who are at risk of boredom, require assistance with eating, or assistance to the bathroom, who may be at risk of wandering off alone. You will make observations of any problem the patient may be experiencing and immediately inform nurse the in charge. Provide companionship by engaging in activities such as reading to the patient, engaging in conversation with them, playing card games or board games. You will also maintain emergency contact information of and for the patient’s family members. Your role will also provide peace of mind for the family by helping to reduce the patient’s boredom and depression with the above mentioned types of activities.

Minimum Salary: 19.50 Maximum Salary: 21.00 Salary Unit: Hourly
